Monitor four zones with any combination of a remote temperature, humidity or water sensing probe. If temperatures and humidity deviate from the preset limits or water forms a bridge between the contacts on the WaterBug® sensor the designated relay for each zone will activate an alarm, dialer, transmitter, etc. |

The professional looking MTA-1 Mechanical Temp Alert adds reliable and economical temperature protection to your residential or commercial security system. The design can be used anywhere the monitoring of high and low temperature limits is critical. The unit allows you to separately zone out high and low temperature alarm signals. Simply select an acceptable temperature range by setting the adjustable high and low limits from +32 to +100 F (0 to +38 C). If temperatures in the monitored area rise above or fall below the set limits, the temperature indicator contacts one of the preset limit arms providing a dry contact closure, which can like a switch be used to turn on an existing alarm panel, telephone communicator, or wireless alarm system.

The simple TA-40 Temp switch is the perfect solution for simple low cost protection in homes, mountain cabins, or any unattended building. The unit will activate a hardwire or wireless alarm system if the temperature should fall below 40 F from its fixed internal sensor. The TA-40 provides positive protection and peace-of-mind to residential and business property owners concerned about the risk of frost shattered pipes and the water damage that follows. An added advantage is the unit's compact size, which enables it to be installed in virtually any setting without being noticed. Contacts above 40 F are normally closed and below 40 F are normally open.
