Like a DVACS line but with none of the great expense. If you have internet you can hook up your Security system to a Internet Module such as DSC's T-Link. The Tlink will give the monitoring station full reporting of what is happening if there is an event.

The added bonus to using this is you can have secure remote access to your Security system.

Example:

John is in Florida on Vacation. The Monitoring station calls to let him know that his system is showing a flood detector has gone off. He can then go online turn off the Security system and have his plumber go by the house. When the plumber has finished he can then go back online and turn his system back on.
